The work of healthcare professionals often feels like a game in navigating the systems in which we work. At ITA’s 7th annual Integrated Creative Arts Therapy Conference, learn how to play a different game.
Navigating health insurance. Working in carceral and involuntary care facilities. Scrambling for funding. Being disconnected from other providers. Filling a growing need while resisting saviorism. The work of healthcare professionals often feels like a game in navigating the systems in which we work. At ITA’s 7th annual Integrated Creative Arts Therapy Conference, learn how to play a different game.
Part 2 (June 9 & 10) will focus on how the creative arts therapists challenge and change the systems in which we work. Can we change the rules of the game, or can we play a different game entirely? Through play, creation, and discussion, we will show how the creative arts therapies can evolve in order to continue meeting the needs of the people in our communities.
